An effective website makes your job easier.
You’ve likely heard that you don’t need a website to run a business and that’s not untrue. You can definitely get by with social media, email, word of mouth referrals, and good ol’ fashioned paperwork but damn do things get easier when all of the pertinent information about your business is intelligently organized and easily accessible in one place.
A simple, professional website cuts out the distracting middleman (*cough cough* social media) and is much more effective at delivering clear, concise information to your prospective and current clients.
What does a well built website do for your business?
Creates clarity that leads to finding clients that are a better fit for your business. Through a website you have your own little corner of the online world that clearly demonstrates who you are, what you offer, who you can help, and how you do it.
Leads to a better client experience, happier clients, and naturally- referrals. If a client knows what to expect they’re easier to work with, they have a better time with the process, achieve greater results, and tell everyone they can about you. And where should your happy clients refer their friends for more information about your services… hint: your website.
Streamlines (and even automates) the logistics of your business saving you time and allowing you to focus on the work you’re actually interested in. Whether that’s getting paid, scheduling, collecting onboarding info, or anything else you need that supports the “real” work you do.
And that’s just the beginning.
Get It Together Audit and Meeting - This one time meeting is your jumping off point for creating your best website. If you already have a website I’ll comb through it to check for any areas that can be improved, including points of friction, fuzzy language, and anything else that might be scaring away your prospective clients. If you don’t yet have a website we will create an organizational and implementation outline to get you on the right track with a clear direction and sustainable schedule from the start. ($170 investment)
Do It Yourself (With an Assist) - You’ll do the heavy lifting (actually, button pressing) but I’ll be here to help. With this option you take the lead on building your website with the assistance of the tool kit I use for building my clients’ websites. Plus I’ll be around to answer questions you might have and for two online meetings (within three months) to trouble shoot, review what you’ve done, and keep you accountable. Building a website is no small task, it takes dedication and attention to detail- support and an outside perspective are invaluable. ($800 Investment)
I’ve Got You Covered - TL;DR I’ll build you a simple and effective website that you can edit for yourself in the future.
If you are not interested in spending your time or attention learning to build a website, I don’t blame you. My guess is it’s an entirely different skill set than your area of expertise. I’m happy to build (or update) your website for you. We will have some meetings, there will be some back and forth as I learn about you and your business but you can leave the organization, creative button pressing, and proof-reading to me. (Starting from scratch $3,000. Just need an update? - let’s chat)
